| this is my plate carrier. I think its to small, I got a med. I need ideas for it I have no idea if it fits right. I might start looking for a large. |
| Only you can decide if it fits you, sure you know that, so what ideas are you looking for? You should be able to do all necessary functions with your carrier. Try setting it up or at least putting it on and seeing if it fits you well. It should not be so tight to your chest that it restricts breathing or eating. If you think you needed a medium to start with then you probably did, try opening up all the adjustment straps then putting it on and have someone else tighten it up for you should you need to |

I always prefer my Plate Carrier to fit nice and snug. I have worn a medium plate carrier and I have worn a large while deployed. The medium was perfect. While the large gave me more coverage on my belly / kidneys, it did stick into my thighs and drove me nuts on long "Sunday Drives". The medium gave me almost as much coverage but was more comfortable, gave me a better range of motion and was all around a better fit for me. I'm 5'10" and 165 lbs, I like happy hour and XBOX 360, my dislikes include...... errr sorry wrong forum. But you get a rough idea about what size I am and you can judge off that. Good luck.

OP, I'm 5'8" 179lbs and I wear a medium. Plenty comfy. Though if you don't like it, I know a few guys who'd buy it off ya lol.
