Hey guys, I'm trying to add some new content to the GSG-5 playlist on my Okfirearms YouTube page, and I'm looking for suggestions. Since most of the content that is already there was developed in response to questions and ideas from members here at ARFCOM, I thought I'd run it by all of the good folks in this forum.

Any how-to, review, or range video that you would like to see––let me know . . .  I need your ideas! I have a few more things in the works but I'd like to have it as interactive as possible with feedback and suggestions from you.

How a a video using different types of ammo?
See what works for you and what doesnt.
Give new GSG users an idea of what to try first and what not.

That's a great idea . . . I'll do that soon! Maybe a test of standard vel vs. subsonic as well.

How about a vid showing that the new GUN SCRUBBER that you show in your cleaning vid will not eat the paint on the GSG 5....would like to use the stuff but horror storys of the reg Gun Scrub turns me away from using it.

If you spray the new Gunscrubber directly on the painted surfaces, it can soften the paint, but if you use it strictly on the barrel and bolt assembly (bolt assembly removed from the firearm) you'll have no problems. The petroleum distillates present in most spray gun cleaners evaporate rapidly at room temperature, so contact with the painted surface is kept to a minimum.

how about some recommened cleaners and oils for the titanium finished gsg5.  I have heard from people that the booklet says wd40 but I would like to use a different technique when I get my titanium gsg5 but am afraid.

how's 'bout a video of where and how to get some ammo.

kidding aside, how's 'bout settin' up any one of them cheap-bay green lasers from china mounted on a ris/ras rail and show us all the COOL factor.  i've been so undecided upon purchasing one since i've had my gsg.  i put a laser on my little ruger lcp, and i like it alot.  but i'm not certain if i'd be overly annoyed at how lasers, and sights for that matter, only line up at only one given distance.  i suppose i do most plinking with the gsg at about 30 yards?  so a vid of a laser sighted in for that range as dusk nears would be hella-super-sweet.  and it may sell a laser.

It sucks and unfortunately I learned the hard way when I sprayed some bore cleaner on the GSG 5 SD (Anniversary edition).  I saw the silver pain start pealing off right away.  Solution is to have the receiver and the barrel Duracoated.  I am currently doing that right now and will upload some pictures once its done.  Duracoat is apparently resistant to most bore cleaners and Gun Scrub.  The guy I took my GSG to is a certified Duracoat dealer and he is supposed to do it for around $100 dollars.  This includes disassembly, Duracoat, and reassembly.  If it works out good I will post his contact info as well.  Hope this helps.
