I don't know if this is the best place to ask, but I am just beginning my research and thought I'd start with the all-knowing arfcom I have a pretty good lead on some modern firearms that I can probably acquire (I'm in Afghanistan). Only I don't know how to get them home. I'm fairly certain they can't be mailed through the APO so I have to ship them commercially. I think they have to be sent to an FFL holder. I don't know if I need any special paperwork. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Yes, special paperwork is required. Check with ATF, they had some forms for me a while ago to do it myself. Container shipping will be around $5,500 door to door if you have enough to fill one. I have to bring over my uncles guns that he is giving me from Germany. |
