Can anyone give me any info on an FN-FAL I am looking at?  It is a paratrooper model with the longer barrel, made at FN Herstal in Belgium and says Steyer Secaucus N.J. underneath.  It also says .308 match.
Any information would be helpful as I am currently FAL-challenged but would like to buy one.

What you are looking at is the 50:64 model
The cream of the crop of the FAL series
I have a 50:63 the same gun with the short barrel.
They are the best all-around battle rifle in the world
BAR-NONE!!!!!
