| Deburs and chamfers in one step? I have the tool that deburs on one side and chamfers on the other, but I would like one that does both at once if there is such a thing. I would like to mount it on a spindle on a little homemade case prep project I'm working on. |

Hornady Trimmate
or a giraud? Not sure of a handheld tool that does it.. |
Lyman makes one, the head comes off and can be used on a trimmer as well. Midway has it for $13.

RCBS 3-way cutter head for their Trim Pro(also fits Hornady Cam-Lock trimmer), trims, chamfers, & deburrs all at the same time but the worse the run-out is in your case neck the more uneven the chamfer & deburr cut will be(trim length isn't affected) and they work well but I still prefer a plain nitride cutter and then all other case prep chores done on the RCBS Trim Mate using the proper tools it's very fast and 100% consistent every time and consistency is what I'm after.
The Giraud trimmers vary in trim length by as much as head space vary which could be from none to up to a few thou depending on lube used during sizing, work hardness/spring back of the brass, and the overall sizing operation it's self, so I prefer something that measures the trim cut from the case head to the case mouth so there all the same no matter how much or little the sizing operation might differ. Forster also makes an insert that goes over their trimmer blade the chamfers and deburrs while trimming also if I'm not mistaken. |

I use lanolin as a case lube and it coats so well that all my brass resizes the same. |

If you go powered get the Giraud and never ever look back! Why get a gracey with steel blades? Doug G. makes upgrades for the Gracey cause it lacks them out of the gate! Anyone that suggest otherwise is not giving you good advice! This, It is so fast and does a perfect job sizing, deburring, chamfering all in one step. 700-800 cases/hr easy. |

I think you meant "trimming". |
