| I have a Cannon safe now for about 5 years without any issues until lately. It has the digital keypad and I've been having trouble getting it to unlock. Usually it makes an audible click after typing in the code and you then open the door. Lately it barely makes a sound or does nothing at all. I've changed batteries and taken the inside of the door off and looked at things but don't want to break the warranty seal to try and fix it. Well I've tried to contact Cannon 3 different times by phone and email but never hear back from them. Anybody else have a safe from them? Have any issues? Just don't know what else to do besides take it apart myself. |

As mentioned above, you'll want to get it fixed before you continue to use it.
Your first option is to wait for Cannon to get around to it, which may or may not ever happen. Your second option is to just pay for it out of pocket. This way, it will at least be fixed and you can continue to use your safe. You can then attempt to collect from Cannon, which may or may not happen. See a theme here? |

As said above, get it open and leave it open.
Additionally there have been enough of these with the manufacturer not stepping up to the plate, that I still am offering my bounty on a Cannon safe. i.e. Make a YouTube video detailing your experience, showing that you are the legitimate owner of the safe, and then cutting into/prying and otherwise destroying said safe to get your stuff out (extra points for creativity and mayhem); and I will get you into a better safe with a true lifetime warranty that actually includes your lock, by giving you any Fort Knox Vault at cost only and ship it to you on my dime. |
