The thing was promised to be delivered in May, when June, then july, etc. Since then we have seen a single partially machined upper. Thats it. I know a new years delivery sounds great and is a couple months away, but I don't think it will happen. Even Geoff herring had trouble producing his, not just the machining, but just finding a couple people to assemble them full time. I'm not sure Paul is set up to do all that(though I don't have any inside info). But there is a decent gap between making and selling parts vs making and selling an assembly. |

I just remembered that my dad actually has 2 lowers from back then. I think they were 100ea and took over a year to ship. We didn't know anything about the company at the time. Paul definitely seems like an "eyes too big for his stomach" kind of guy. Like he probably can make stuff, just starts 10 new endeavors before finishing one and then everything collapses. But that's all speculation on my part |

He says its available for purchase "pretty much now" and the 308 version is available in 150 days. I find both of those things hard to believe. I think the video is a Fighlite MCR. Show us the other side where the logo is. Edit: I dont know if he edited it or if I missed it on the first read, but it now says the video is of "an existing upper." |

He surprisingly said something about having million(s) in cash. My funds were returned promptly. I'll Def buy shrike barrels, maybe even another cryo shrike when they exist. Would love a 308. Use with my sear in ar10. |

From what I can tell, looks like a MCR but with some features removed, no iron sights, no handle for the quick change barrel, non folding charging handle, simpler handguard, etc. Smart move on their part, a lot of people probably dont care about those features and just want a belt fed. Still gonna be 5K though after the introductory pricing expires. |

from instagram post 2 days ago We are in high production of the 5.56MM beltfed upper top covers now. Our top covers have a similar but different internal geometry to the other one on the market, for an almost frictionless CAM movement. Later on we will be offering “upgrade” top cover kits once we are finished shipping our orders on full belt fed uppers. When too good to be true sounds so good EDIT (for clarity): Seriously, this guy is offering essentially free barrels in 'due course and time' to his first customers? How does this not sound like a Ponzi scheme? Only a large mfg with sufficient overhead can cover that cost on a promotional freebie...but with his evidently extremely strained production supply chain, how can he be offering this? |

| I've done a couple of orders with them and currently am waiting on one of the dual magazine/nut sack lowers from them. The 80% nut sack only lower that my Fightlite Raptor sits on arrived pretty quick after ordering it. I just think that their ETA on products is best case/wishful thinking. Its like how NFA used to be....order it and forget about. One day it will actually show up....lol. |
| Canceled my order 2 days ago because its getting close to the 90 day cap on doing a chargeback. Paul responded that lowers were shipping next week, he told me 2 weeks ago they would ship this week, but said he would cancel the order. 2 days later... Crickets. He did the whole song and dance about the vaporware 2000.00 gift certificates for his 240 that will take super safeties and that he has 300 million in orders for them from some south american gov or something and getting 2 more machines to keep up with demand. I would suggest getting your money out if you can. The dude is full of shit. |

Ouch. I remember once when someone first brought up cryostructure and MCR barrels for cheap. I mentioned I never heard of them, then someone told me there are plenty of companies that do great work I never heard of, and then pointed out cryo has millions in sales... I got a find him and ask if he thinks cryo does good work now that we have all heard of them |
