These that are around 14$ for a pack of 6.
Member Wsix asked me if i was familiar with those, i think i'll share my experience.
These were issued 2 each as part of the Ap98 body armor (1998/2008). See the large loops next to the ground protector? There are 4 more in the back to slide a web belt in and attach pouches.
As far as i can Remember almost no One used them as we had our LBE rigs. However i found a photo (guy on the left)
Back to the pouches they are of very simple construction, dual ply pack cloth material not unlike alice pouches closed by a single flap and a large and long strip of hook and loop. The fold in the center part of the loop Is another open top pocket meant to hold a SRCM type hand grenade (a small cleaning kit fits too). I don't Remember the manual, but i am pretty sure the pouch was meant to hold One Mag per compartment, however two metal ar15 magazines can be slid in easily. One 308 or One ak Mag per compartment fit too, the flap for the latter being short, but there Is still enough velcro strap to keep It somehow tight
Belt loops are slightly lower than other pouches where they are usually flush with the top of the mags
Pouch with 1 metal ar15 Mag per compartment
Two mags per compartment, check the flap. Back magazines have homemade tape and casing magpul, so flap May look slightly shorter.
Two mags per compartment plus a grenade
I use them for keeping magazines around, as they are low profile and light like a bandolier.
You can think of them as combloc belt ammo pouches that are still often seen in ukraine used by conscripts or separatists, being issued One each with 4 mags and a cleaning kit as part of the rifle package
Loaded with 4 magazines or maybe two, a First Aid kit in One compartment and a Little bit of cleaning kit in the grenades pocket these May be handy to Stash or as a Quick force multiplier for some civilian tasks. It May go against the whole world of tactical Gear but i think the latest, greatest and most expensive Gear Is not needed to fight or protect yourself, Just like you don't Need 1000$ of Nike clothing to go out for a Walk or going to the Gym.
