I have been covered up with school and work the last 6 months. I really haven't had a lot of time to make knives, and I have been behind on some orders. But, I am finally almost caught up. I thought I would share my most recent knives that I have finished.

All are chisel ground and heat treated by me.

The first ones are 1/4" 5160 and around 6" long.

Second picture is all 1084 and 1/8" thick.

Third picture is 3/16" 1084 with ghost jade G10 handles around a 3" blade and around 7" overall.

Fourth picture is 1/4" 5160 with a 3 3/4" blade and 9" overall with black G10 and heat treat finish.

Fifth picture is 1/4" 5160 with a 4 1/2" blade and 10" overall with black micarta and heat treat finish. It also has a sharpened top swedge near the tip of the blade.

The grand finally is the chopper that I made. I made it mainly to test the heat treat process I am using and because I have never made or owned a chopper. Its 1/4" 5160, 8" blade, 2 1/4" at its widest, and 14 1/2" overall. It has a glow in the dark dot on both sides of the handle near the bottom. It is very blade heavy which is what i intended.

It is mostly flat ground but the last 3 inches are convexed for strength and weight. The edge is completely convexed.

I have been chopping with it nonstop for about a week. The only part of the edge that has chipped or rolled is where it hit some rocks when i cut through a stick on the ground, but its not that bad. The edge loses its shaving sharp after a good bit of cutting but a strop on some leather and its right back. I hit it on a diamond stone after a few days to touch the edge up a little. Overall I am extremely pleased with how the heat treating turned out.

Sorry for the wall of text now on to the pictures.
