So I just aquired a Johnson Arms 5.7 carbine. Developed by Melvin Johnson of Johnson rifle and LMG fame, it is simply a 30 carbine necked down to 22 cal. Johnson Arms, under Melvin's son Ed, tried to market the carbine in the 1960s but was not succesful. This is the deluxe version with fancy stock and Williams sights.
