Mine should be be approved any day then. Im pending individual sent 1 day after yours. I feel like all those year long waits I suffered for are now being repaid. Only questions is what do I form 1 next. I could have all my safe SBR'd by next month. :) |

Damn did choose poorly. I would have gladly paid for two transfers. Dealer to individual. Individual to trust.

Seems pretty clear that trusts are either getting scrutinized up the ying yang, or it could be simply that they've got thirty thousand trusts to paw through clogging up the hallways at ATF, each of them the size of a home loan application. |

29 days for a form 4 approval?! Is that even possible? I got my newest silencer in 11 weeks, and I though that was fast. I picked it up two days ago. The silencer on the left took 11 weeks to approve. The right silencer costs twice as much as the left silencer. They both perform exactly the same.  |

I always filed individually, and I would always say I couldn't believe that the fingerprints would make the wait take so much longer. It never made sense to me. You were going above and beyond to file individually. The ATF should have LOVED individual filers, and made them go quicker. Well I got tired of the wait......so I got a trust. Submitted 2 form 4's with the trust, just as the trust waits skyrocketed and the individual forms plummeted.
Im still waiting one those form 4's. The first of which is pending as of 6/2. In a few days an Individual form 1 will be going out. Just picked up the CLEO signed form today. I'll probably get this one back before the 2 trust form 4's

The ATF probably just likes laughing at us. Trusts were 30 days and Individual took months. Now they flipped it. Are they taunting us?
I just think that once everyone heard about trusts taking 30 days, everyone jumped on. I am sure there was a spike in Forms. And now everyones doing the trust route, there are not many people doing individual? Idk |

I had to wait two weeks for the CLEO (sheriff) to sign-off on the form. It probably would've been longer if I had not gone and badgered them about the two week wait. Under the current sheriff, you have to pay a $25 fee for sign-off, thus my aggrivation for the wait. Under the old sheriff, there was no fee and the turn around was less than a week. As I was waiting for my form 4 to come back, I went ahead and got a trust made to avoid the hassles of waiting on the sheriff. Now, it seems 'individual' submissions are the way to go....go figure. |

| So get this. Sent 2 forms in July 13. Check cashed July 15 approved August 14th but still no Stamp! I actually got a call from ATF yesterday in regards to error on form 1 (apparently Colt marked M4 carbines cant have AR15 as model listed even though my other approved form last year did, go figure) and he said give it one more week before asking for a certified copy. |
