Anyone purchased one of these?

I am pondering the idea of buying one for $114.50. Can anyone describe the overall condition for me?

I haven't ordered one from FGS, but I've heard GREAT things about them on the Swiss Rifle forums. You'll probably get a rifle that looks much like the one in the picture.

Yeah, it might look like a turd, and have a lot of faded bluing... but I'd bet money it will have a PRISTINE bore, and will function perfectly.

With a little work, you can clean up the stock. I had one that started like that one pictured on FGS.

I forgot to say it - GET ONE. GET TWO IF YOU CAN!!

K31s are GREAT rifles. That rifle shot 1.5" @100 yards with Wolf Gold softpoints. It should do even better now that I added the brake, and with handloads.

Yep, better buy one now before the suppyly from the wholesalers completely dries up. Usually good milsurps effectively double in price once the imported supply dries up. Just look at the prices of Swedish Mausers, Fin M39's, French MAS's, Enfield No 5's since they've dried up. That K31 will probably average $300 by next year.

I purchased one from them a couple of years ago and it was a pleasant experience. Their service was quick and the rifle better than they described.

Sent the order today for 2
