Good point however I'd think that if you found an auction where one sold you could use that as a basis for value or somehow get a third party appraisal. People do it with rare watches and jewelry all the time. Hell, I have an old 23' Mako boat that was professionally restored to better than new condition and blue book value is probably worthless, however the insurance company went with what I paid as replacement value so I don't necessarily see why firearms would be different? After some political correct-issues with the wording, the text was changed to M4 Match. Like Buddyhoohaw said, those same Match rifles from the time period also came with the original URX rifle length rails without integrated front sight. Both rails I’d love to get my hands on. Every thing is up but kac stuff is selling quickly at these prices. I have an extra complete chrome bcg I'm wondering what it would go for. I'd love a kac lower myself but even if I found one they are double or more right now. I seen a 14.5 upper go for $2500 and others we're in line. I can't imagine the rare stuff. |

There's one on GB right now that's bid up to $1325 with two days left. It's Sandcutter and chrome bolt only with no small parts. Keep an eye on it and see where it goes. I saw a couple QD cup lowers go for $1250-1500 recently, but that was a month or two ago. They may fetch more now or bring about the same as a standard ambi lower. Guys are paying twice MSRP on those ATM. I think it's mostly new guys who are scared they won't be able to get one in the future if they don't buy now. |

Maybe not KAC made, but definitely KAC related. No idea who made them. I've heard KAC didn't make them, then others say that KAC did. I talked to BE Meyers a few years ago who said they didn't make them, but then again I've heard that they did. Someone made them at some point for some reason. Then there's the "don't shoot these with an NT4 attached or your family will die in a terrible boating accident". It's too much. I remember dealing with a couple of these years ago, and I recall an NT4 being shot on one, without ill effect. But, I'd appreciate someone from KAC chiming in. @Jack_L @SxPxDx Please share what you know and an approximate value for one of these things.
