I have an M-4 with a SureFire M-73 rail on it. I have two full size KAC rail covers that will not stay in place. I do know that the M-73 was made for the KAC panels and has the proper cuts in the rails. The panels are in place, but the metal clips are not staying put Is there any way to remedy this? I cut on panel down to fit a vertical grip years ago. I found a 1/4 Allen head Set screw in the speciality screw section of a good hardware store, drilled a hole in the center end of the panel section the just screwed the set screw in and tightened lightly. It has been that way for years and hasn't slipped or come loose. Karsten |
