Well I've used them all and I'll admit I'm not good at stones so using a mounted or fixed system is all I can use effectively. Well I forked over the money after doing the research for a couple of months and got the KME sharpening system. Let me tell you that I haven't personally used the wicked edge but it couldn't do any better at sharpening a knife.

I've resharpened most of my blades to really get a handle on this thing and I'm impressed. For those looking for a sharpening system check it out and don't hesitate about the money. It's worth it.

After a valiant effort to learn free handing, and never being able  to truly master that style, I bought a KME and I can't believe I waited so long to do so.  I have the sharpest edges on my blades that I've ever had and most importantly for me the edges are repeatable.  If you are on the fence about the KME buy with confidence.

I got it off KME's site. They have a special for $205 that includes 4 diamond stones, which are the best I've used, the clamp system with base, free strop, case, and some other stuff. I added on the cbn emulsion to put on the strop and the white Arkansas stone to use after the 1500 grit diamond stone.

Later I will add some other stuff but for now this is perfect.

I have the ken onion work sharp but I feel like I'm not getting my knives as sharp as I can, also interested in having something that doesn't need power

I have the KO Work Sharp too.  Puts an edge on my knives that's superior to my Lansky and right up there with my buddy's Edge Pro.  Try varying your angles until you find what works.  Also, make sure you're completely re-profiling to a convex edge.  A sharpie helps to ensure that you've established a convex edge.
