I’d also like to know who has them on back order or in stock. I really wish KAC would just let us back order stuff from certain dealers. Also, has anyone shot one of these KS rifles using NVGs and an IR laser? How is the POI shift of the rail with the upgraded barrel nut and hand guard interface design? |

I dont think my question is really anything to dwell on but just find it odd that despite having a commercial product line up as well as a dealer network, neither the vendors nor the manufacture can provide any information on availability. whatever, I am sure its a decent rifle. |

| I suspect dealers will get an update on ETA from KAC at Shot Show next week. Whether KAC sticks to that ETA is another story. Don’t blame the dealers…KAC works on their own schedule and the dealers don’t know anything more than what we hear. |

For the poor on Page 1: Barrel/upper gas system, BCG, trigger, ... soft shooting, low gas in the face even for lefties, ... Really a lot better than most, definitely better than anything in the sub-$2K range I have seen. It is not a regular gun plumber AR-15 knock-off. |

Their website lists ARMAD barrels for KS1 through 3 variants, and the 308 SR-25 K5 14.5”. As far as I’m concerned, this is all vaporware until I see stocking dealers possess new KAC rifles or when they can actually take our orders for one. |

KAC has already taken orders for the majority of the K/KS stuff. Obviously timelines are a guess with KAC but most dealers are saying they expect to be invoiced within the next month or two. Lots of quoted timelines that have come and gone though (in this thread) so we’ll see. |
| I’m hoping they drop a bunch at once. I’m sorta in a hurry for one as I live in Virginia and will probably lose my rights to purchase one after July 5th. It took me 2 years to to get my 11.5” cqb which sorta sucks but I’m pretty patient guy usually. To all those who have one secured enjoy! |

The very thing that drives the vast majority of current customers is the scarcity. This certainly isn't directed toward most of us on here. But when anyone can get what they want, it loses it's appeal. It's simply a game of cat and mouse which our brains love by design. If they flood the market then they go back to being overpriced and will sit on shelves (circa pre covid) aside from the occasional sale to the 'loyal customer'. I'm not some conspiracy theorist. Anyone that's been around long enough has witnessed this ebb and flow. I also don't know that it's fully intentional on KAC part. I think they just prefer to keep a small shop with lower volume and make more per unit. Nothing wrong with that. But as you say, certainly not surprising. They know what works for them at this point. I am hopeful with the MSRP adjustments they have intentions to ramp up some production. Because they wouldn't have done that otherwise. But either way, I'm way passed the point where I'm going to spend any of my time tracking things down. |

I wish there was priority list with many of the dealers and manufacturers for people that live in communist states like you and I. Colorado will loose basically all of it's gun rights this year in August. Magpul, who actually started in Colorado, was handing out boxes of free mags to everyone, just before the magazine ban took effect. |

Blasphemy, I know Mybe gonna put a shorter KS1 handguard on the KS4, maybe look better? I even traded to get a Vortex AMG so we will see how that compares to one of my Kahles K18i-2. Cheap case, no paper manual I'm sure saves a few dollars. |

I wanted a dimpled barrel sr25 but wasn’t sure time was on my side and this is probably a better rifle for my uses. I bought a ks1 upper at an inflated price because I didn’t know what Virginia was going to pass, have an sr15 lower that’s being form 1’d for it. |

I’ve gotten my KS1 Upper. Running it on an SR15 lower, CRS-1 suppressor and sandcutter. Put about 300 rounds through it so far and holy shit is it great. Very flat shooting. Recoil impulse is great. It’s definitely a chonk and heavier than my 14.5 Mod 2 but I expected that.i was surprised it shot softer than the 14.5, I’ve got about 8k through it and it’s been my all time favorite rifle. I’m going to grab a CRS 2 and CRS3 for it ( also have a KS3) to reduce some front end weight. Groups a little over an inch at 100m with 70gr TSX. I shot with my friends who brought out their super duties and urgi’s with SF cans..they’re looking for KAC rifles now
