Talk to me about the clamp on one.

So it's less then $100?

How exactly does it clamp on?

I have a K31 with amazing bluing on the receiver and I don't want to compromise it in any way.

Links to different scope mount options?

Thanks fellows.

I believe the St. Marie scope mount was the most widely used from reading prior posts, but I am sure you already know that Milla

Too much money.

The most popular is the clamp on, I believe it's $60-$90 I would like to know more about it from people who've had some trigger time with one.

st marie is the best hands down.  If you bought the gun for looks and not to shoot, don't shoot it.  The mount will not significantly mar the finish.

Pretty sure 99.9% of the K-31's are shooters, you won't find one in perfect condition to the point where you wouldn't want to shoot it.

I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to shoot a gun but at the same time trying to preserve it's condition, there is a middle ground between both extreme's.

I know what the middle ground is, just sell me your K31 and I will tell you how it shoots when its scoped....
