How long can a kevlar vest be stored hanging before it suffiecently increases the chances of it failing for level IIIA?
Is an isreali vest made in 2000 that has been hanging up for 18 months worth 300?
thanks

If it was exposed to direct sunlight then forget it. In general they are replaced every 5 years. Unless it was kept and stored properly then I wouldn't risk it.

Bulletproofme has some good info on older vests. I have personally shot vest from the late 70"s early 80's and they all stopped rounds hotter than their ratings.
