| This weekend I did a little shooting with the sbr and had some keyholing issues. Out of 100rds at least 10rds keyholed. I haven't noticed this before so is this just something to maybe chalk up as crappy ammo? The rifle is a DDM4 with the barrel cut down to 10.5 by ADCO. The rifle has less than 500rds through it. The ammo was georgia arms 55gr. I didn't get to test any other ammo but I will the next time out. |

How do you somethings? |

After I built my SBR I ran into a problem in its first range outing. After a dozen rounds or so I noticed a keyhole in the target. Turns out my AAC Brakeout had started back itself off. Just a few degrees of twist on the muzzle device was loose enough to cause a keyhole.
I took it back home, pulled the device - cleaned the threads up and rockset it in place. No more problems for me. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
