I am looking for a nice SIMPLE sharpener for a combat knife to use here in Iraq. I am not that steady to use a stone, but want my knife (a Glock Combat knife) to be sharp. I have seen some on TV that you just draw it thru and they set the angle automatically, but did not catch the name or brand. Anybody know? Also looking for a green handle with saw back Glock knife, but both places I tried are sold out and backordered. Do you know of anyone who makes a molle compatible sheath for the Glock knife? The type of sharpeners you are talking about are made by Gatco and Lansky. I think one of the two companies make a "hiker" version too. These are very good for getting a consistent edge angle. You may want to consider a Spyderco Sharpmaker, as well. These are very highly recommended by many people. Good Luck, Mike L. |
