Does somebody have the link or know where I can find this discussion about LC 07 brass? I saw something about it awhile back but can't find it now that I have a few hundred cases of it. I was just wondering what the deal with this brass is? Thanks

I think it would help to distinguish whether 7.62mm or 5.56mm.

What brass parameters are in question in the scuttlebutt you have heard?

Sorry about that it is 5.56. It was origionally loaded in factory Federal TRU 55gr nosler ballistic tips. I don't really remeber the discussion but I remember something being talked about these cases

I have been using some 7.62 LC'07s that went through an M60. They seem to be doing OK. I currently do not have any 5.56 LC'07s in play.
The problem units in 5.56 have typically been "FC"s not "LC"s. Some of the FCs seem to have softer than mil spec heads and/or thin webs and lose primer tension after only a few firings. Without the "NATO cross" I am not sure what LC even means anymore as far as specifications.

I am not aware of any LC 07, 223 brass problems.
