It's cooler outside, I have a new JRC in 9mm and I have no rounds so I started to make some. My press was set up for 5.56 so I switched shellplates and dies but I'm starting loss as to the powder drop setup.
In my box of dies(9mm),along with he shellplate there was the little piece that bells the mouth and lifts the powder dispenser to fill the case.

I made a quick run at it but also had to replace cable boxes(fucking comcast)before after dinner viewing.
I know I have the parts cause I've loaded all my calibers before so I know the parts are present, just not currently accounted for presently!

No distractions when reloading.  Not sure what you are asking?

You need to locate the shell plate and expander needed for 9mm, then adjust the dies so you get the right expansion, bullet seat and (hopefully) a good taper crimp.  Break out the manual and all the parts until you ID what you need and understand the setup.

Yeah, not quite sure either. The LNL Ap comes with three sizes of inserts for the powder measure. The 9mm uses the longest one (this gives the case activated powder measure enough "rise" to fully rotate the drum).

One cup of coffee + better lighting + less stress = success.

I now see I use the same quick change powder die, I just drop in the powder through expander and I'm good. Of course some minor tinkering will occur, along with lots of weighing of charges!

Thanks guys.

Just under 150 rounds of 124 gr 9mm ammo but now I need to locate another big bag of montana gold bullets or my little adventure will get derailedDidn't take much tinkering at all.
