I know this is a question fraught with danger but here it goes. Why doesn't Lancer sell MPX magazines?

I'd assume it has something to do with the contract they have with SIG. Hopefully someone in the know will chime in.

I would bet that there is a time frame in which they cannot sell the mags.  Once that time passes, i'd imagine they can start selling them.

I would also guess that Sig gambled on an initial production run and $70 per mag was to recoup the initial R&D as well as the molds, setup etc. if the initial run of the MPX beat targets then (fingers crossed) Sig will release Lancer to let the free market kick in........

Pretty please with sugar on top.

I'm hoping the MPX gets enough sales volume to attract Magpul's attention.

Won't happen unless a very large goverment contract requests it from them, magpul doesn't play the proprietary game unless its side sales from an existing gov contract. Examples: HK G36 and Steyr AUG mags.
