[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Lancer extension tubes

Anyone tried the Lancer carbon fiber extension tubes out on a shotty? I like the idea of the light weight, especially since I want to put a tube on a Benelli M2. Couldn't find much in the way of reviews here or from google.

No one has tried them? I may have to be the guinea pig and order one. My only concern is that the tube is glued (or bonded, as they call it) to the nut.

Steel bends but does not break.

Graphite composites fracture and can fall off.

Make mine steel, please. How much could you possibly save, given that the heaviest part (the nut) is still made from steel?

No thanks. Not a place to be using carbon fiber.
