I have been looking at a laser bore sight system since I found out that the BSA Arbor style one I have does not work with a flash suppressor, there are lots of choices to choose from and I would like some suggestions on one that won't break the bank and some of you use with success

Thanks

Where did you hear that?

I have an Aimshot Arbor style laser bore sighter and it works fine on my M1A.  I got the Aimshot after I put on the SEI USCG Muzzle brake but I see no reason why it would not work with the stock flash suppressor.  The laser is sitting right there in the chamber - same as an actual bullet.  If the bullet can fire through the flash suppressor then the laser can as well.....

The arbor style is not a laser it's the collamator style with a grid and it really does not line up even close so I was looking at a laser style Site-Lite says there SL-100 won't work as the shaft is not long enough they would have to retrofit there SL-150 with a longer shaft

Oh, never heard of a collimator style arbor bore siter.  The Aimshot certainly is a laser however and like I said it is in the shape of a .308 cartridge that sits right inside the chamber.  At night the laser easily reaches the neighbor's (unoccupied house up for sale) front porch over 150 feet away and way beyond that too.  The thing uses tiny batteries however and the laser really sucks down the juice.  Spare batteries on the 'net were literally 5Xs less expensive than buying them at a local pharmacy/grocery store.
