I searched for "LCW" and "Lauer" so I feel safe asking this...
Anyone have any experience with the Lauer suppressors? |
|
I don't know if the Lauer cans were bad. I did meet a guy who had a Lauer 5.56 can that had an issue- he sent it back and I think it was two or three years not returned when I spoke to him. He bought one of mine just to have while he waited for his to return from LCW.
There are a lot of WI shooters with LCW .22lr cans and they like them. |

I gave mine away for free to the first person who would pay the Tax. I'm sure he's happy, but like KaptKrunch Said... It was poorly made, and after 3 baffle strikes and multiple trips back to Lauer, and $160 for Custom Front/Rear Endcaps, I was pissed. I have zero regrets getting rid of it, and won't look back. They are first time buyer silencers, and I bought mine for $80.00 Directly from Lauer back in 03/04ish. They were doing an inventory reduction sale or something, and I thought I was getting a great deal. |

They are OK from what I have seen at the range, they make the rifles quieter.
But their customer service sucks the moment they get your money. I didn't want one of theirs and wanted them to transfer an AAC can but they said they charge a $150 "transfer" fee. I walked out and never returned. I wouldn't buy one, YMMV. |
