Years ago, I used a yellow lead removal cloth to clean out .22 barrels and when shooting .38 wadcutters from my revolvers. It seemed to be impregnated with some substance that worked very well. A friend has something similar but doesn't seem to work as well. I think the older type was Birchwood Casey, anybody ever use the yellow cloth one before. |
| Yep, I think I have one or two packs left. They worked and worked well. I see they do still sell them. Lewis lead removers worked well also. Haven't seen any for sale in a long time in stores but still available. Kroil and REAL copper choir Boy scrubbies work really well also. China ''copper'' pads are almost always copper washed steel, do not use those. |

"Remember" these are for SS / Nickel Plated firearms only ! IE, it can remove bluing ! That said, the older ones did work shockingly well ! |
