I have reloaded shot shells, but not anything else. wanting to reload a few boxes of .270 for my Win mod 70.
anyone have an opinion or review of the classic loader ?

For a bolt gun, it is fine choice if you are only going to load a limited number of rounds. I would get a balance beam scale to weigh the charges (assuming you do not have one). The dipper is going to get you pretty mild loads.

thanks, I have a Pacific Deluxe scale that my father bought new in the late 60's, was thinking of using the barnes triple shock x bullets to work up a hunting load.
any suggestions as to what powder or primers and a starting load ?

If barne has a reloading manual,  I would start there
