I just tried my legion 226 with the sico threaded barrel and the octane 45 on it, not happy can only get one shot off at a time the follow up round goes into battery but the slide stops a cunt hair short not allowing the round to fire. Does anyone have experience with this do I need a heavier spring? Please help

I have this exact setup except I have the Sig threaded barrel.  Even with low powered 147gr handloads it cycles fine.  Maybe you have a weak spring or the barrel is slightly out of spec?  Did you try cleaning the pistol really well and lubing  the rails with light grease?  I use TW25.

Shooting 147 Winchester it was lubed really good and it runs fine without the can, I will scrub it down live it up and try some lawman 147 later

The Winchester 147 did have a lot of gas blowback

I had the exact same thing happen with my legion 226. It was new and just needed a few mags through it unsuppressed to break it in. It started to cycle with the suppressor after that.  No issues since

How many rounds through the suppressor since it was last cleaned?  The piston might be fouled up. I've had it happen after a high round count.

Maybe 50 rounds pretty much brand new

Have you tried a little grease on the piston?

Are you able to try the Can, Piston and its spring another pistol?

That would eliminate the Can and its parts....

I have a G34 and a Lone Wolf Barrel, it did something similar for the 1st few mags...  I pulled the barrel, cleaned the crap out of it and the Glock, reassembled and never had an issue since...

My Legion octane 9/SC barrel ran flawless

You are running the the can with the piston and spring and not with a fixed mount nor fixed mount spacer correct?

Only reason I ask is I was shooting next to someone who didn't know he needed to run the spring since he was moving the can from a sig to beretta which doesn't need the spring.

try breaking the barrel in by shooting without a can.   I think the SiCo barrels run at max dimensions, I had to take a nylon tipped mallet and beat mine in and out of my G26 to get it to fit and broken in to a point you could just rack the slide.   Then I ran it without a can for 50 rounds.  No issues since with or without a can.

Other possible issue, Octane 45s are heavy, my P220 has a fit with it and that is a Dark Elite with a threaded barrel installed from the factory.   Try it without a can and see how it goes.
