What version of the Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x was issued? Clone rifles just says 3.5-15 but no info on reticle, turrets, focal plane, illumination, etc. Lots of varying info out there. EDIT: I guess what i'm really trying to ask is there a visual difference between the mil/mil ffp version compared to the moa/moa sfp version? |

I never should have sold them (which I did to pay for a lawyer for a custody battle). I’d kill to have them back again. @coldblue thank you for sharing all the intimate details of these beautiful rifles that Defended our Freedom. In a related question: what’s the difference between the ECC and EMC barrels? I can’t seem to find a difference. Pic of old NSW Mk11 can for thread: Attached File |

Chamber and muzzle is kinda dirty so it could be obscured, but looking at pics I took when I got it doesn't look like there's any lining. I could be talking out of my ass, so YMMV.

Originally Posted By themissinglink: ECC is Chrome Lined EMC is not Chrome Lined Both are Cut Rifled Chromoly I’m not 100% sure that is correct. See this thread by the dude from KAC: https://www.ar15.com/forums/Industry/THE-SR-25-INFO-THREAD/381-258793/SR25 info thread He states the EMC is chrome lined and 1-11 vs ECC is chrome lined and 1-10. |

| Yep I was pretty sure the big difference between the ECC and the EMC was the rail. The barrel was chrome lined on both with the faster twist being on the EMC. |
Major Captain of Seaborne Party Operations for the North Atlantic Ocean
| The EMC and ECC both have ball milled Chrome Lined barrels. They are essentially the same gun, the EMC was the first version with a URXII and the ECC followed with a URX 3.1. The EC came out at some point and had a URXII with a stainless match barrel, which is probably causing the confusion. |

I really need to coat my EMC, but I don't have an ambi lower so that would bug me if I went that route. |

Maybe Jack or Coldblue can chime in here as well on this. I notice that upper on the slick sheet for the M110C had the milled brass defector and the longer ejection port and welded two piece dust cover. I just purchased an EMC that also has those. My understanding from internet research is that they made these adjustments to make it more reliable under high suppressed firing schedule. Anyone with ANY info please chime in. It’s the little details of things that warm our KAC hearts. Pic 1: early EMC I just bought Pic 2: Mk11 Mod 0 with smaller ejection port Pic 3: current production upper with longer port Attached File Attached File Attached File I circled the part I’m talking about. Look how different the 3 are. Attached File |

Every time I think I’ve run down the correct part, another twist in the KAC labyrinth. Now I am looking for a M110 compatible upper receiver. Also I am looking for a SR25 Match 24 inch barrel with the integrated threads that are close to the gas block. |
