I found this link on another website, that will of course go unnamed.

It should help with timelines and examiners name.

blackeye, ar15.com has its own tracker, built on info supplied by our membership: NFA Timelines thread Is there a reason why you want to send folks to someone else's, rather than the tracker used by most ar15.com members?

Uh......... like maybe to help people?

The one we have is great but the above link I provided makes it a lot easier and quicker to match the first letter of your last name or the gunshop name with the examiner.

Do we have a problem, Tony?

I just question the value of the info in that chart.

For instance, let's say my last name begins with "G." On page 3, I see "G" applications signed by Ted Clutter, Jason Frushour, and Rob Howard/Susan Santamaria. So which would be my examiner?

If you are buying from an FFL/SOT dealer, you don't need a chart to tell you –– just ask the FFL/SOT. They know who their examiner is (or they should, if they are doing their job.)

Where the chart would have some value is for determining examiners assigned for individuals filing Form 1's –– but the chart does not list "initials" for those, or for individual-to-individual sale Form 4's –– only for dealers. So the sampling is incomplete.

Beyond that, there is no problem. But IMHO, when you find an outside resource that has the same goal as one here, I would link to both as a matter of courtesy, to allow members to choose which they prefer.
