Im torn - I get that, it may be tough to discern differences in loads at 25m, especially when doing the ladder test.

But I only have a 4x acog on my AR. I want to elimiante any shooter error.

Is it counter productive to test at 25m? My only opions are 25-100m

With those options, sight in at 25 yds, shoot groups 100 yds.

25m is okay for a half assed vertical zero when it's inconvenient to shoot a full 100 or 200 yards, but it's about unusable for working up a load, the bullets will simply strike too close together to be able to make any sense out of the results.

The results you get at 25m are going to be meaningless. Just about anything will look like it's grouping well at that range.
