Sorry, my bad. I need to spend more time in the Reloading Forum (lol). |
|
I subscribe and I like and use it a lot - but then I do a lot of less common reloading (cast bullets, black powder rifle cartridges, etc).
For regular run of the mill re-loading it's not as interesting and won't tell you much over a reloading manual, but for the less common loads and calibers, it's a great resource. It's also nice in the respect that it's become a repository for some older data, in an age when loading manuals seem to be constantly reducing the max loads with each new edition. I never blew myself up with my Hornady 3rd edition data, or their 6th edition data, so I'm not not seeing the need for lower "maximum" limits in the 9th edition. More importunely now during the shortage is the ability to get alternate load data for available powders and that's where resources like older loading manuals and Loaddata.com make a great deal of sense. If you have a .45 ACP and want load data for Red Dot and a 230 gr bullet a Hornady 9th edition won't help you, but the older editions or loaddata.com will give you the data you need. |
