SOE is now called BDS Tactical. It's in their website as the Direct Action chest rig. I've heard that BDS isn't quite what SOE used to be (mind you this is error net info), but still very top shelf in design and execution. It should be w/ a $300 price tag. John Willis was the mastermind IIRC of the original SOE. I've seen what appears to be postings here on ARFCOM from him. I believe that he's still making great gear. Mr. Dueck has what appears to be a ballistic vest (camo) on under the SOE chest rig, an OD Nomex Flight Suit, w/ Hatch (i think) gloves. His AR has a Surefire suppressor, SIR forearm, Aimpoint M2, and a Surefire M900 series vertical foregrip light. What can you say? He's got very, very nice, spendy taste. |
| John is still around and is a member here on this site. I had him build me a pouch a few months ago so he is definitly back in business. He can be reached at [email protected]. |

Looks like full spectrum body armor (the [old anyway] Marine recon armor) a sage flightsuit (marine recon issue) and hatch or other operator gloves [I would reccomend simple fliers nomex with the cuffs folded forward- -I like them a lot better.] the operators have elastic in the guantlet part so you are kind of screwed with it. Also looks like Wiley-X eywear. |
