Just wondering if anyone had any problems with the bolt locking back after emptying the clip.  I seem to be dry firing the GSG since my bold isn't locking back.. at least that's what's occuring when my GSG is clean.  After it gets a bit dirty from firing 2 clips.. it then locks back as expected.  No clue what's going on there..

You have to post pics on a external site since your with a free membership, then press the button with the icon of a mountain to insert your link to the image.

So what's a shy, or are you talking about the spring being too strong, pressing the lever down too hard?

No I still have the spring. Actually that spring is to stop the bolt from getting locked open. Funny thing is that after it gets dirty, it works.

I know....but after my spring went missing my bolt hold open stopped working.......dont ask me why.

With the new spring, the BHO works most of the time but still fails to lock on occasion.

Where did you get your replacement spring?

I emailed GSG.

With the replacement spring.....it still fails to lock when the mags are really dirty. I usually disassemble and clean the magazines every third or fourth range trip.

well not going to post pics will try to explain my gsg had the problem your talking about the bolt hold open lever drags a little on the bolt if you pull your bolt out you will see  it is making a wear mark on it sand the whole area with fine sand paper on the area you see the wear to take off the paint on the bolt housing and use a dremel buffing pad to make it real smooth thats what i did to mine hope it helps thought it was my mags to but not in my case hope it helps you out it might be a little confusing i will try to get pics of mine and post somewere on the web but i still need to find out how to do that

I got it from RedWolf (www.airsoft-war4.com/details.php?pid=493)
I think I paid too much for it, but it worked out great.  It was the G&P GP102 model.  you have to get that specific model to make sure the collar matches.  i heard either the GP101 or GP103 is the wrong size.  Any case it take a lot of work... dremelling out the collar.  The official tack thread on the GSG, first page, has picture of the collar being dremelled out.  It's not hard, but it takes patience and work.  Also the last piece of the rail has to be cut and filed down and spray painted with black matte.  End product is absolute gorgeous.

Note that kit GP102 comes with the panels and foregrip as well.  Only reason why I said I probably paid too much is that shipping is like 30 dollars from HK and I saw the same thing on eBay later on. (wasn't on eBay when I ordered it)  Could have probably saved anoter $20.  Oh well.. I did get the item within 4 days from HK.. which is pretty damn good.
