 Bet you thought this would be a 12" revolver. Nope: 24"! I had not previously seem this combo before so when I popped up for sale, I grabbed it. Didn't even know that detachable shoulder stocks for Remington New Armies were available. But on a 24" revolver? Still has just the basic rear notch in the hammer rather than a rifle sight as installed on the fixed-stock carbines. Not surprisingly, the revolver without the stock is quite unwieldy. Anyone ever seen one like this before? Should be...interesting to shoot. Rob |

Very nice! I really like the shoulder stocked Single Actions ever since I saw "For a Few Dollars More" and Lee Van Cleef's character wielded a long barreled Colt with a shoulder stock - In one scene he can outshoot his distant pistol carrying enemy because of its extra reach. I didn't know about Remington's coming in this fashion, but Italian copiers made lots of versions of stocked Guns, in the 60s-80s. |

I have a uberti 1858 carbine and got a 45 colt converting cylinder for it Link It is very good and yes keep your hand close under the frame It would be interesting to take deer hunting in black powder season with, would that be legal? |
