Hi there, last Febuary I generously oiled my beretta cheetah .380 stuck it in a zip lock bag and stashed it in my vacation house. Do any of you guys see any sort of  problems from doing this?  I plan to wipe it down real good before using it again sometime in december.

any moisture thats in the bag stays there

either cosmoline or vaccum pack it oiled and with a dessicant pack

Wrap the weapon in cheese cloth and store it in a heavy ziploc
bag 3/4 full of dry uncooked rice .  Cheap yet effective
