I hope I put this in the right spot...knowing me probably not.... I swore I started a thread on this months ago, since then things have changed some but its no longer in "my topics" so assume it was archived.I now have a decent helmet and currently china copies of the wilcox bridge and wilcox G24 mount.....yes I feel dirty about it but most stuff seems to be not in stock for a while and the bridge I wanted to test at a 1/4 of the price before I went all out. In the end it will be a back up "just in case." I will probably upgrade to a real wilcox and maybe a bridge but figured I might see what others recommend. I plan to mount the following in various configurations: PVS-14's <-----mostly on the left eye (left eye dormant/right handed but I do shoot a rifle with my right...done it for years and bass ackwards but oh well) NOX-18 <----probably mounted on the right only, not sure (on order, not in my physical possession) SiOnyx Pro <----this is a backup for the PVS-14 or if I might be in a situation the lighting is high enough to use effectively and might not risk the chance of tube damage from like sudden bright lights turning on, I would like to use this on either eye - put in place of PVS-14 and run with my NOX or have more of a dual setup with it on the right running the PVS-14 with it. I would like all this to be as plug and play as possible but I understand I might have to adjust the distance between the eyes for certain changes. I have 3d printed a dovetail plate for my Digital NV so that it lines up pretty decent with my PVS-14's as far as distance from my eyes and stuff. As I don't physically have the NOX -18 I can't comment on how that will fit yet. Not sure how that will make me feel like a genius or show me I have created 87 more problems... I guess my big question is there a better option than the wilcox bridge and mount for my purpose....more adjustability is all I can think of that might be helpful as everything has a dovetail plate already. Since I haven't gotten my hands on any of this besides the fake copies I have....I might like something better. The KVC universal bridge seems to be very similar to the wilcox, I have not seen a bridge like this that will let you adjust the angle of where your vision devices are pointing. I have never used it but understand for a dual setup many like it better this way. I like the ability to flip up each device out of the way as I might want one and not the other running two different types of devices. I am open to suggestions outside the box as this stuff is totally new to me really. PVS-7's was the last thing I touched before now and that had the skull crusher to attach it to my head. I will say I like the helmet mount way better but it does overall have a weight penalty to it, but adds a protection element as well with needing a helmet. |
| I don't believe the wilcox bridge will work with the nox18 as the arms have are pushed back. I believe the pano bridge has a nox option. Another option is the d14 bridge. It will probably have a little cant to the thermal box which I guess bothers some people. You can also get the Mod Armory thermal jarm for a single mount option that will accept the nox or the d14 mini arms. |

Noisefighters has their bridge setup to run most of the popular thermals. They have the Nox18 adapter specifically and photos of it on their website. I just saw that mushroom posted regarding the panobridge also. Sorry buddy Attached File |

Living in the city I have enough ambient light I really don't need a PVS-14 currently...if the power goes out probably a different story.

Thanks for all the replies... I think this left me worse off than if I hadn't asked (well mentally  ). Looks like I will have to wait until after the NOX shows up to see how that works, since it may not work with what I have at all. I was really wanting to get this part setup prior to its arrival...or at least have it on order.Keep the ideas coming. |

I use the Wilcox bridge for my MH25 and I reversed and rotated the shoe around. So basically the dovetail enters from the opposite side. Hard to explain, so see Nick's Insta post: https://www.instagram.com/p/CT0-bxervr1/?utm_medium=copy_link |
| The MH25 works fine with Wilcox/Clones as is (I got mine from UNV and it came with Rail and K-Clip) - Can you get a shot what what you are linking to - my browser gives me a log-in page. He's also looking at the NOX, so I don't know - the Panobridge seems to bee plug'n'play. Lion's Gear MACHOS is another option *if* a NOX can be made to work - it is default for Auroras, 14's, Breach's, and MH's. |

I'll add my $0.02. I am sure I'll catch flak for this but fuck it - I don't care. I bought a clone Wilcox bridge from Alibaba from China last year for the SkeetIR. Why? Because it was an exact copy and cost $90 shipped vs $700 for the same thing.   Now that THAT is over with. I also bought a LEFT arm from Mod Armory: https://www.modarmory.com/product/integrated-components-d-14-dual-pvs-14-mounting-system-arm/ It looks like they may have discontinued this though??? Anyhow I mounted this to my PVS14. It required some grinding though as the shoe that they sold with the darn thing isn't made for standard shoes I guess? Who knows - but just a few grinds from a Dremel diamond wheel worked great and allows it to lock up in the bridge without issues:  Anyhow - after the minor modification it locks up into the bridge and works GREAT! As you can see the NOX18 and PVS14 are flush with each other:  |

I actually posted this just a few days ago, having similar questions. I've been looking at this setup. It essentially looks like a 3d printed Wilcox setup. On one hand, I'm on the fence about a 3d printed mount. On the other hand, I like the adjustments and options available. At that point though you could also just get an actual metal Wilcox knock off, one of the airsoft solutions. Sotac I think. Pick your poison I guess. They do seem to work well so far but have not put mine through any type of true test. Until I get a true wilcox bridge I really won't know what else this is lacking....) Nothing seems to play nice with a different companies/type product dealing with NV....

While it's true that you do need to file other Shoes (M24 FLIR in my case) - the only way to know if the Bridge Dovetails are really out of Spec, is to try the SkeetIRx Shoe in them - it is a little different:  Full Info here: Skeet Shoe Alternatively - I guess if you had a real Wilcox SkeetIRx Bridge, you could see if any and all other Shoes for everything, fit fine. |
