I picked up 100 62gr Barnes TSX and 100 70gr TSX bullets today but cant find any info on the 62gr bullet and only some Varget data for the 70 Gr's, does anyone have any other data for these bullets that work well in a 5.56 1:7 twist barrel?
Also are the Barnes TTSX bullets better than the TSX, and if so what is the main difference other than one is HP and the other is poly tipped? |

The Barnes web page has some load data for these bullets. I like 25gr of varget behind the 62gr heads, they fly right in my 1/7 and my 1/9 ARs. I didn't have the opportunity to wring out the 70s anywhere near as well, and can't give you conclusive data on those. I don't know about the TTSX, only the regular ol' TSXs. |
