I have an itch for a dagger. I'm not going to use it every day, or as a utility kinfe... I would just like to have one  so right now I'm looking fo4 one that is no more than $40. and I would like it to be pretty durable. Thanks. |

Daggers aren't designed to be durable they are designed to stab people. They have fine points and thin edges which are good for penetrating muscle and organs but bad for utility blades. Most daggers are also made of lower end steel because they are not intended as every day use knives to be cutting rope and opening boxes. The Cold Steel Peacekeepers are the best in the $40-50 price range. The SOG Pentagon or Daggert would be a great choice, but they are about twice your price. |
