I had an original Benelli M1 with the wood furniture. It was a tack driver with slugs. I regret selling it big time. I'd sell a kidney to get it back! I then had a M1 Super 90 and shot a lot of rounds through it shooting 3 gun... Sold it due to divorce. I then bought my M3. The best shotgun for 3 gun. You could shoot in auto matches and pump matches with the same shotgun. The duty shotgun was a Remington 870 so the muscle memory was re-enforced shooting in matches. I will sell a kidney before I'd let the M3 go. The ghost ring sights are fantastic and I just drill and tapped the receiver (it did not have the factory drilled and tapped rail mount) and mounted an Eotech EFLX red dot. It is the most under rated shotgun or Benelli ever marketed! |
So... I find comfort in the fact that if Trump has to work so hard to go to Heaven, then there is a shit load of Democrats that have no f-cking chance to go anywhere but HELL. Sometimes it is entirely appropriate to kill a fly with a sledge-hammer.

I have an M3 3 Gun and a short barrel for it and I love it. Have given two M3 Fields as gifts and they loved them. |

It's my personal favorite SG. But to me, the M3 was the next best thing. It's really just an M1 with a switchable pump conversion. Maybe they just weren't moving enough of them. |

M2 has kind of been the replacement for a while now... speaking of which the M2 Tactical is also now missing from the site. The M2 got updated to a gen 2 a couple years ago except for the tactical model, so maybe they're converting the tactical model to the M2 gen 2. I agree on the M4. It's also my favorite shotgun. My dad had an M3 and decided he didn't want it so he gave it to me and I sold the M4 since I didn't need two tactical shotguns. Won't let go of the M3 due to sentimental reasons. Like you said I imagine they weren't moving many. They're not hard to find per se but you definitely don't see anywhere near the stock you see with the M2 Tac and M4. Like on gun.deals you'd see like 5 websites that even carry them, where-as almost everyone has M4s and M2 Tacs. They're still on the LE site for Benelli USA so maybe they just cancelled them for civilian sale. I know there are quite a few .mil that still run the M3. It seems like the M4 has the largest foothold among .mil, with the M3 a not-so-close second (in regard to semi-auto shotguns). |
