I have a $200 work credit to spend on new work boots and they only care that the boots have a US standard metal or composite protective toe. They don't care about anything else so I figured I would find some good boots for the action shoots I do 2-3 times a month, I don't have to actually ever wear them at work.

My question is what options do I have out there that meet the following:

1. Protective Toe
2. MultiCam
4. No low tops or running shoe style
3. Bonus: Side zip

I'm not using these for a living but I think $200 should get me boots I'll have the rest of my life if I only use them a few times a month.

I found a pair of boots labeled as Condor but they seem to be discontinued, they looked to have been everything I wanted otherwise.

Thanks for any input.

It seems like there's three main options now for Multicam boots:
-Underarmor Speed Freak
-Danner Melee
-Belleville Khyber Pass

Unfortunately none of them have a protective toe (I'm guessing you mean a steel or composite toe?). But they meet the other two, but not the bonus.

Multicam boots are a new thing, so unless you're really stuck on the Multicam color, I'd suggest either A) Waiting for some new designs (and they'll be coming) or B) Get something in either Coyote or OD, of which there are plenty that will meet your requirements.

I'm quite liking the Belleilles myself, they have some good features. Don't own a pair but I'm in a similar market to you.

Thanks for the response. I'll have to expand my search to include tan boots then.

I will say, IMHO, multicam boots scream airsoft. Black, brown or tan Lowas, Asolos, or Solomons, say operator

YMMV

Not multicam but very comfortable here

Thanks for the suggestion but those Keen boots don't have the military look I want.

I'm currently considering the formerly converse, now Reebok 8" boots with the safety toe and side zipper in tan.

So you're looking for military standard issue 'look'? Change the laces to a subdued color and it looks like what some guys I know in 19th group would approve of

ETA: multicam boots are definitely not military look

I have been wearing the Converse side zip with composite toe for about a year now.  Took about a week to break them in but they are very comfortable.  I will only buy side zip boots from now on.  Great ankle support and quick on and off.

Comfort>Military look in my opinion. Why must they be multicam?

Because multicam would be hot shit to wear at the office.

Tan converse side zip boots are in bound (from amazon) and submitted the receipt for reimbursement. Thank you corporate America.
