Any help much appreciated Should be fine, just tighten her down. Some guys use a 1/4" socket to tighten them. I bought a very large phillips screwdriver from sears just for the garand. If it keeps coming loose while firing your accuracy will get wonky while it's loose. If the threads are worn to where it keeps loosening while shooting just replace it, they're cheap. |

Sounds good thanks ! no problem, Oh and to clarify when I said 1/4" socket I should have said ratchet with a short extension w/o a socket on it, the square drive fits in the screw. |
