I'm looking for a nice tactical watch and came across the Luminox f-117 nighthawk black out watch. Anyone have any experience with Luminox and what is a trusted web site to get it from.  The product number is    A.6402.BO
thanks

hubby has 2 Luminox watches and loves them both.  we bought them at a jeweler, though - not sure about any online places...  we love the blackout - that's the one he wants next...

I was going to go with Luminox but decided to go with a G Shock. Get a G Shock and don't look back.

I have the 3202 Stainless Steel Luminox and have beat the hell out of it for right at 6 years now and it has not missed a beat. I've changed the battery about 2 years ago. It's been my favorite watch. I also have a G-Shock like everyone else on ARF.com but it rarely is worn. LUMINOX is GTG!

I have 4 different Luminox watches.  They have all worked well.  Battery life is about 4-5 years, but it's relatively easy to change out the 395 inside.  Good for diving and general use.

I bought a Luminox watch back in 2001 and it lasted me until 2008 (through my deployments). After it broke (the casing finally cracked where the watchband pins attached), I bought a few other watches and broke each one within 6-9 months. Last Christmas the Gfry bought me a new luminox and it's holding up extremely well. I'm pretty rough with my hands gloves and watches don't really stay new for very long. The Luminox watches are pretty much the only ones that last. (I got issued a G-shock and while amazing, with far better features, it was just too big and bulky). The tritium is pretty bright though so I keep it covered at night when doing real stuff.

I received this watch for Christmas - it's my favorite by far. I use it as my daily driver. Echo on the tritium; it is very bright!
