Okay, the info on an M1 carbine was so awesome, going to try a Garand, yes, it’s a CAI receiver, I know. Although it shoots fine and I haven’t had any issues with it: but still interested in the provenance of the other parts, so I’ll dive in with photos. (Taking photos to upload) |

Too bad it’s a century receiver 😬🤣 So the pb on the gas block and stock, make them BM57 beretta parts? What about the barrel, bolt, and op rod? The bottom of the magazine appears to be a B stamp too |

Eventually they ventured into BM57 production on most of the save tooling, with many of the same parts. But I'm not familiar enough on the BM57 to tell you just how many parts were unique and how many were unaltered Garand parts. |

| I would recommend you replace the uncut op-rod on the Springfield Armory 341xxxx rifle if you are going to shoot it. They modified them to prevent cracking with a relief cut, compare it to the tanker with the U shaped cut. Later revisions were relieved from the start. Get one with a relief cut to prevent the cracking and having a bad day. Uncut op-rods are sought after by collectors for restorations. |
| I see the half moon cut in the other 2. I bought the century so I could shoot the cans of Chinese ammo which everyone warns is garbage. I have only shot the Springfield with brown box M2 if I’m remembering my numbers correctly. You are saying don’t shoot it at all and buy a different op rod? |

That -10 oprod is not very common either. I'd replace it with a more common cut -6, -9 or a postwar oprod if you're just shooting and not collecting. You have some nice parts and could easily sell those and replace them with more common versions and have money leftover. |
