Hi Everyone,
I hope this is OK posting this here. If it's not I apologize. I have a friend who's had some major health issues and had to sell his Class 3 collection to pay bills. He has some M11 parts left over and is wanting to sell them, but doesn't know the value of them. He said that he doesn't want to sell them individually, but wants to sell the whole lot. Can some of you guys give me a idea of what all of these pieces would be worth? I'm just trying to help him out. Any help is really appreciated.

Thank You!

Kirk

I can't name all the individual parts, but the lot would include everything shown.

*5 Uppers
*Mags, loaders
*Bolts
*Thompson SMG Stock
*Wire Stocks
*Fake Suppressor
*Springs, small parts etc...
*Pouches
*Brass Catchers

There's a lot of value in individual parts there, but the problem with selling as a lot is you'll get 1/3 or less the fair market value of all those parts put together than you would selling them individually.  Someone might take any one of the uppers for $200 or more, but not want to be forced to take all 5 at that valuation, each.

Dealers might be willing to buy the lot, but are going to want that steep discount to take the lot off his hands and leave them room to make money selling the items individually over the next year or so.

If he's really looking to dump the lot, have him detail what's in it, and put it on gunbroker as a lot for the very least he'd be willing to take for it.  If there's interest, the bidding may go higher than that. If it were my lot and I were looking to unload, I'd probably list it starting at $600 or so.

UZI TALK has a huge MAC following.
My M10 leftovers got sold there.

Feel out the crowd, place the least desirable upper and 3 mags for an amount you feel comfortable with.
Did it sell fast, slow or not at all ? Price accordingly.

Frank's Gun offered the most for my C3 stuff, and he wanted the parts as well.
FYI.

FACTORY is always the most in demand, hold that back last.

I'd say about 900-1K for the lot......the zytel and other mags shown aren't real hot sellers......nor are the uppers.

The Urbach slow-fire bolt pictured is worth (about) an additional 200 by its self.....

Sell the uppers individually, the mags as a lot, the stocks as a lot, and the bolts/internals as a lot.......you'll maximize your money.....

He analyzed it like a boss.
I would follow his advice.

Not a lot of "desirable" parts there. New production ZMAGS have killed the resale value of used zytel mags. Most of the spare parts look like used, maybe worn originals of questionable quality and origin. The uppers look well used. However, some of those individual parts would get him some money. The previous posters know a lot more about this stuff than I do.

While this is an incredible venue. I would also advise you to pursue the Mac section over on Uzitalk.
Best of luck and I wish your friend good health

lots of cool junk there...    5 years ago I would probably throw you an offer, but getting tired of accessories clogging up the closets.

Bundle the original upper and folding stock together, those will sell for more than you think.  Put the mags into like groups of 5 plus a loader and sell those.

What you need is a nephew to post pics, collect money and ship.   There is at least $1k retail there if you break it up, maybe more.
