So the M16 has the Black Rifle books which has helped immensely, and I see there are SOME resources for the M14, but I'm not sure what resources are reliable.  I see that Collectors Grade Publications has an M14 book, but it's $120 with no reviews, so I'm not sure on the authenticity, or if there's one that's cheaper that documents the changes and evolutions of the M14.

I'd appreciate the help, as I'd love to learn the history of another rifle and continue to expand my knowledge regarding these rifle kits so that I can work on building an authentic/quality M1A / semi-auto M14 as well.

Maybe you can find one of these.
More stats, and historical facts than you can believe.

Thanks.  I did download it.  I couldn't find one to purchase.....and it doesn't come with a challenge coin.  If there's one for sale, I'll probably buy it though, as I felt almost like it was pirating the book....

Don't worry, Lee Emerson has recommended downloading the books to many who have wanted to learn more about the M14. If you really want to buy them, let me know and I can go find the link.

I would appreciate it. I want him to get paid for his work. Especially someone allowing it for free. There are so many hacks and cons, so it's good to recognize hard work.

The website that sells his books is: Lulu.com

Now I can't remember for sure, but I want to say he stated before that he doesn't earn any profit for these books. His forum name is Different and some of the stickies here are his.
