Can one still is irons with the rail installed? I'm thinking of upgrading my M14 without going the spacegun route. Maybe even throw an Aimpoint on top. No need for high end optics. Price is steep, are there any other alternatives that are cheaper and work?

Irons are no problem with the KAC RAS. I had one on my Poly...

PLEASE NOTE - The RAS will only work with a Govenment Profile barrel.

I have a USGI barrel on mine. Next question - who has them in stock now? I'm looking for just the rail without the rear scope base. Operations Parts has them with the scope base and I do not want to pay more for a part I don't need.
