So I thought I saw someone say that one of the Reloading manuals had M1A specific loads, cant remember which one it was, if anyone know, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for the replies, and I have read that little text about M1A reloading before, but it does not have any loads in it. Ill check the sierra manual.

You didn't read far enough. Zedikers download has a whole section on reloading for the M14 platform, with lots of loads listed, which powders and bullets are best and why. I use his loads in my rifle.

I wouldn't waste your time sending you to a link that didn't have the information you requested.

From the page, one example;

More than
I know anything else in life, stick 41.5gr
H4895 in an IMI® case with a CCI® BR2™
primer and cap it with a #2200 to 2.800
inches oal. Done and done.

I pretty much came up with the same load in my loading for the M1a before reading that.  I'm 41 ImR4895 though.  I want to point out the Zediker comments on brass and setting up your dies properly.  that's the most important thing in the whole article for your safety and the health of your M1a.  Don't get caught in the false idea of reloading with FL dies that must be crushed down to the shell holder.  You really need to know how far to push the shoulder back to not OVER do it pushing the shoulder back creating a long headspace situation.  You will get case head seperations that way.  BTDT got the T shirt.

ETA- IMR 4895, H4895, IMR 4064 are the tried and true powders.  I leave the ball powders out even though the work good if kept in the load's temp range.  Hot days alway blew my groups with ball powders.  I'm not sure but Benchmark and IMR 8028 might be modern contenders now.  Varget certainly is popular.

Yep, my "Target" load is 41.5 of IMR 4895 behind a Hornaday 168 match with Win primers. Shoots 2" at 100 yards with irons from the bench. Probably better if it had a better trigger puller. Hard to argue with something that works so good.

My "plinker" load is 40.5 of IMR 4895 behind Hornaday 150 grain FMJs. Very soft load, when the rifle gets a little dirty it will sometimes not cycle hard enough to pick up the next round, very accurate, 2-3 " at 100 .I'm thinking about bumpimg it up to 41 to cycle a little stronger.

I like the Sierras too, but I'm cheap

No worries OP
