My m1a is ejecting shells up into my scopes tube and adjustment knob. It is dinging it up pretty good. is there a way to adjust how the gun throws the spent case?

does anyone know a m3 breech shield would work?
midway has a generic brass deflector that attaches to you scope rail, might have to tinker with it but it might work
